ACCESSIBILITY

Arena Theater is committed to accessibility. We recognize the needs of persons with disabilities and strive to make our facilities and productions accessible to all, and like many small rural theaters, are doing as much as we can to make our shows available to everyone, especially individuals with special needs, mobility issues, or impaired hearing. Please contact us for more information.

OPEN CAPTIONING

Open captioning (English subtitles) allow deaf or hard of hearing patrons to follow the movie dialogue. Open captioning film screenings will be available by request by phoning 707-882-3272 or e-mailing philmarrinan@yahoo.com. Three day advance notice is required, though we will make every effort to accommodate requests on shorter notice.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES

Our devices use a radio frequency system and are intended for patrons with mild-to-moderate hearing loss. We also have a limited number of integrated neck-loop devices that work with hearing aids that have a Telecoil or Cochlear Implants. The assisted listening devices are compatible with standard headphones or earbuds. We provide headphones but if you prefer to bring your own, please feel free to do so. The assistive listening devices are distributed at the Snack Bar on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 WHEELCHAIR ACCESS

Wheelchair bookings can be made for all live and cinema shows. Patrons can either transfer from their wheelchair to a seat or stay in their wheelchair in the specially designated area in the back of the theater.
