Freedoms on Film brings together five remarkable motion pictures inspired by Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Four Freedoms—Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Want, and Freedom from Fear. Through classic dramas, documentaries, political thrillers, and satire, these films explore the ideals, challenges, and responsibilities of living in a democratic society.

Spanning more than fifty years of filmmaking, each selection offers a unique perspective on the enduring values that continue to shape our communities. Whether you’re discovering these classics for the first time or seeing them again on the big screen, we invite you to enjoy outstanding cinema, engage with meaningful ideas, and experience the power of film to spark conversation.
